Some kids have time to play… Jeremy Dooley has no time for games.
Since 2021, Jeremy has been on a rapid rise making people laugh across the world. The award-winning comedian has already headlined in places as exotic as Europe and…Preston, and in 2024, Jeremy is taking his chaotic brand of storytelling across Australia.
His last two Melbourne International Comedy Festival shows sold out. The clock is ticking for 2024!
'In the world of comedy, a few names stand out, and one that’s making waves is Jeremy Dooley.' Forte Magazine
'The best lighthearted, "laugh 'til your guts hurt" comedy show you will see.' Weekend Notes
Joining Jeremy on stage each week are a selection of Melbourne’s best up-and-coming comedians...
Fri 29 & Sat 30 March:
Lily Geddes (2022): In a short period of time, Lily has gone from watching comedy, to booking and promoting comedy, and finally to doing comedy. Lily is a been enthusiast by day, and battles hangovers by night.
Tyson Chappel (2018): Tyson’s dad is a professional comedian. Tyson also works behind the bar at a comedy venue. He did his first gig at eight, then retired at 10. He’s been back for a few years because he simply cannot escape comedy.
Wed 3 – Sun 7 April:
Steven Bradshaw (2023): Steven is from the Cook Islands… and Melton. It doesn’t really make sense but it’s true. It’s also true that in a short time Steven has made waves in the comedy scene, playing with all manner of headline acts. Has a good beard.
Hamish Deo (2021): The Fijian/Indian sensation is passionate about UberEats, DoorDash and other food delivery services. The only thing infectious about Hamish is his comedy. Comes with jokes, but no delivery fee.
Wed 10 – Sun 14 April:
Jacinta Jaye (2022): Former international touring musician, former RAW Comedy State Finalist, Jacinta has swapped the rockstar life for comedy. She writes TV ads for a living, but uses the comedy stage to tell the jokes that would get her fired from her day job.
Michael Haber (2022): Has performed all over Melbourne. The self proclaimed ‘Maltalian’ comic also orders chicken based dishes all over Melbourne. Has a notably good moustache.
Wed 17 – Sun 21 April:
Eli Pascoe (2023): Corporate Lawyer by day, Comedian by night. It’s the Best of Both Worlds, cue Hannah Montana, or Midnight Oil depending on your generation. Loves self improvement so much that her therapist says Eli is "her favourite client".
Max Zadnik (2021): Balances the joyous enthusiasm of a Labrador, with the cold rationality of Microsoft Excel. Both an endearing and terrifying combination. He’ll make you laugh, and you’ll scratch his belly ('coz he’s like a Labrador…)
