Wild Goat Entertainment together with Sharp Eleven are proud to present Hal & Bacharach – The Hitmakers. A thoughtful and heartfelt homage to the chart-topping songs of Hal David and Burt Bacharach, both responsible for one of the greatest American songbooks of the 20th century.

Widely considered one of the most successful partnerships in music history, Hal David and Burt Bacharach began their collaboration together in 1957 after meeting in New York City’s legendary Brill Building. Within twelve months, their songs had entered the US music charts. By 1961, following their collaboration with pop star Dione Warwick, they enjoyed a string of number one hits. The duo continued to create music together until 1973, when they parted ways and continued to sustain successful solo careers, often co-writing with other songwriters.

With soaring melodies, unique orchestrations influenced by jazz, rock, pop and Brazilian music, unsentimental, yet poignant lyrics, the award-winning music of Hal David and Burt Bacharach is forever etched in the canon of popular music.

Join us for an evening of expertly and lovingly delivered songs by the great hit makers, Hal David and Burt Bacharach. An exceptional 7-piece live band, together with three incredible vocalists, Renae Suttie (Kitty Kats), Chris Herden (Good Morning Vietnam, Music from the Vietnam War Era) and Melanie Evans (Menopause The Musical).

Featuring hit songs like Walk On By, Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head, Do You Know The Way To San Jose, Anyone Who Had A Heart, I Say A Little Prayer, What’s New Pussycat, Alfie, What The World Needs Now, The Look of Love, as well as a host of other Bacharach classics.
