Sir Henry and Lucy Angkatell have invited friends and family for the weekend at their family home, The Hollow. Things get complicated for guest Dr John Cristow when his mistress, ex-mistress and wife all turn up at the same time. Lady Lucy is absentminded, Midge is desperately in love with Edward who is desperately in love with Henrietta. Henry tries hard to keep up and the Butler keeps everyone out of trouble. Or does he? Nearly everyone has a motive to murder someone, and most of them have the opportunity at somepoint during the weekend! Throw in a spot of recreational target practice after breakfast and sit back and enjoy as the plot thickens.
