Award-winning Perth playwright Yvette Wall’s fresh teen drama Outback Angels will make its Subiaco debut as part of Subilicious, a Fringe World Festival 2020 hub in the City of Subiaco.
Outback Angels explores the reality of being a young person in today’s high-tech times, focusing on the relationships between ‘Instafamous’ teenager Annabelle and brother and sister, Pete and Lainey, when their worlds collide on an outback cattle station in Western Australia following the death of Annabelle’s mother.
Comedic, dark and thought-provoking, it’s a play about love, loss and the complexity of human connection, directed by award-winning Perth director Scarlett Greenock and starring local actors Lena McLeod, Finn Synnotand Kate Sisley.
Presented by Off the Wall Productions. Recommended for ages 12+, the play was featured in Youthfest and Hills Festival of Theatre 2019. Tickets can be bought at Fringe World's website or on the day (cash only) depending on availability. Subilicious is proudly supported by See Subiaco.
The event will be at the Townshend Theatre.
