Fringe Dweller Exhibition Opening

Join us for the official opening of the beautiful and unique exhibition, 'Fringe Dweller.' Regional fibre artist Rhonda Rettke explores a variety of ‘fringe dweller’ concepts in each sculpted hat, ranging from the fringes of where the land meets the sea to the social issues of our urban fringe dwellers. Materials such as handmade felt and hand dyed silk combine with found and natural objects to create original sculptures for the head.

Opening in conjunction with 'Physical Video', on tour from the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA).
