Coldplay - A Head Full Of Dreams Tour

2016 will definitely end with a bang as Coldplay bring their A Head Full Of Dreams Tour to Australia this December.

Being their first world tour since the Mylo Xyloto Tour in 2012, Coldplay will first conquer Brisbane, before tearing up stadiums in Melbourne, which will see two consecutive shows and Sydney, also for two back-to-back performances.

More than two million tickets have already flown out the door, which kicked off with a record-breaking stadium run in Latin America in March/April and which will see the band perform four sold out nights at London’s Wembley Stadium in June.

A Head Full Of Dreams, Coldplay’s seventh album which is out now through Warner Music Australia, notched up Number One spot on iTunes in more than 90 countries and sold more than 3.5 million copies since its December 2015 release. It features singles ‘Adventure Of A Lifetime’, ‘Hymn for the Weekend’ and ‘Up&Up’. It has also cemented Coldplay’s reputation as Spotify’s most-streamed band in the world.

The album comes as vibrant follow-up to Coldplay’s sixth consecutive worldwide chart topper, Ghost Stories. The band chose not to tour Ghost Stories and headed straight back into the studio to record A Head Full Of Dreams.

“I think that not going on tour with Ghost Stories was one of the best decisions we ever made, because it gave us such pent-up energy in the studio and completely reignited everyone’s desire to go around the world and play music. A Head Full Of Dreams was written as a record to be performed live. We can’t wait to do that”, said Coldplay's Chris Martin.

So if you ever dream of seeing an iconic band tear up a stadium right in front of your eyes, grab your tickets 'cause Coldplay are set to turn that dream to reality!
