Lunar New Year is almost here and to welcome the year of the Ox, Highpoint Shopping Centre will host a weekend of festivities! The Lucky Tea House, a contemporary Chinese-inspired tea room, will arrive in centre on Saturday 13 February and shoppers are invited to discover their good fortune with lots of treats available and free prizes up for grabs until Sunday 14 February 2021.
Across the course of the Spring Festival at Highpoint, shoppers who spend $120 in centre will be granted exclusive access to the Lucky Tea House, where they will discover three ‘lucky’ stations:
- The Lucky Fortunes: The first station of three, teaching customers about their Chinese zodiac sign and handing out custom-designed fortune cards that double as a lucky scratchie. The scratch card will determine which stations shoppers visit next!
- The Lucky Cup: Serving complimentary bubble tea and sharing custom fortune cookies.
- The Lucky Dumpling Cart: Revealing exclusive prizes from within dumpling steamer baskets. The major prize: a super-lucky $888 Highpoint gift card!
In addition to the contemporary Lucky Tea House, guests can enjoy a more traditional Chinese Lion dance as it parades throughout Highpoint Shopping Centre at scheduled times on Saturday 13 February, bestowing good luck and prosperity on all who watch.
